THE SCIENCE
BEHIND MIXPOTLI
Mixpoti is a wellness brand rooted in ancestral knowledge and Ayurvedic traditions.
Why Powder, Not Paste or Liquid
Every Mixpotli product ships as a 100% active dry powder. This isn’t a stylistic choice — it’s the foundation of the entire brand:
- No water = no microbial risk. Water is what allows bacteria, yeast, and mould to grow in a formula. Remove it, and you remove almost all need for chemical preservatives.
- No preservatives needed. Because the product stays dry until you activate it, we don’t need parabens, formaldehyde-releasers, or synthetic preservation systems.
- Longer shelf stability, less waste. Dry powders are inherently more stable over time than emulsions or liquids.
- You control freshness. You mix only what you need, when you need it — the rest of the jar stays untouched and stable.
Our Formulation Process
Every Mixpotli product goes through the same four-stage process before it reaches a shelf:
- Formulation — ingredients selected based on classical Ayurvedic use and current scientific literature on millets and botanicals.
- Manufacturing — produced under a licensed Ayurvedic manufacturing facility (Lic. No. 55 ISM (HR)).
- Testing — every batch is screened by an independent, government approved lab for elemental safety (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium) and microbial safety (total microbial count, fungal count, E. coli, Salmonella, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus).
- Dermatological Evaluation — formulations are independently patch-tested on human volunteers by a certified CRO before being confirmed safe for use.
Safety, In Plain Language
All Mixpotli ingredients are of natural, plant-based origin and intended for external use only. We do not make therapeutic or medicinal claims — our products are proprietary cosmetic formulations, inspired by Ayurvedic tradition and supported by current scientific understanding of millets and botanicals, not classical medicines in themselves.
